Provisional LGV licence.

You have to hold a provisional licence before you are allowed to drive on the roads and before you have your assessment. To obtain the first licence, you need to take a medical examination. If you need any advice or assistance with the forms, please let us know.

Fee: Now FREE from Dept. of Transport.


Medical examination:

A form for this purpose is enclosed with the brochure that is sent to you when enquiring.. We recommend asking your family GP, however if you don't have a GP please ask, as we can recommend one. The medical may be taken with any Doctor.

Fee: Variable.


 
 
 

Initial Assessment:

Usually on a ‘one to one’ basis and lasts about one hour, held at your local centre.

Fee: £35+VAT

 

 

Theory Test:

This has to be taken and passed before we can apply for the practical test for you. A one day course is available - please ask for details. We can also provide the appropriate study books if required.

Fee: £50 (payable to the DSA).

 
 
 
  Practical driving tests:

We normally arrange the test to take place on the final day of your training using your regular training vehicle.

Fee: £105.00
